Brazilian ferroniobium

Ferroniobium is an alloy of niobium and iron. It also contains impurities such as aluminum, silicon, carbon, sulfur, phosphorus, etc. It is mainly used in the steel industry to improve the performance of steel, such as strength, heat resistance and corrosion resistance. The ferroalloy produced from niobium-tantalum ore contains tantalum, which is called niobium-tantalum-iron. Particle size 0~2, 3~15, 5~30

Niobium-iron alloys with different niobium contents

1. Low niobium content (e.g. niobium content of 30% - 40%): relatively low price, can be used in steels that do not require high niobium but require a certain strengthening effect.

2. Medium niobium content (e.g. niobium content of 50% - 60%): widely used in the production of medium-strength steels, and can better balance cost and performance.

3. High niobium content (e.g. niobium content of more than 70%): mainly used in the production of high-end steels, such as aerospace, petrochemical and other fields where material performance requirements are extremely high.
