Quick drying-out castables are developed for shortening time for curing and drying and improving drying-out security. Natural curing time can be saved by over half of that needed for common castables. The required drying-out time, depending on the thickness of the installed lining and material quality, can be shortened by 2 to 4 days comparing with conventional low cement and ultra-low cement castables, thus the preheating time can be greatly saved. They are especially suitable for urgent repairs.
