Gunning mixes & self-flow patching mixes

      In accordance with service conditions of converter, we have developed SR-ZP series gunning mixes, using high quality magnesia and magnesia-calcian clinkers as raw materials, with addition of special binder and additives. Featured by high adhesion, low rebound rate, good sinterability, good corrosion and erosion resistance, they are ideal materials for cold or hot patching of converter.

      In order to solve the problem of earlier damage in the areas of trunnion, wall and tapping hole of converter, patching mixes are developed using high quality magnesia and organic binders. The mixes are featured by mild smoking, high bonding strength, good fluidity at high temperature, good scouring and erosion resistance. They are ideal materials for hot repair of converter lining. The mixes soften at high temperature and become fluid state. After feeding and tilting the furnace, it will evenly spread, thickening the lining and quickly sintering, and hence prolong service life of the lining.
