The self-flow castables are made by optimizing the PSD of aggregates and powders and with addition of high efficiency water reducing agent. It can flow and level by itself and is suitable for the installation of configurations with complicated shape and limited space. Their thermal shock resistance and mid- and high-temperature strengths can be further improved by adding appropriate amount of heat resistant steel fibers.
