Regenerators for regenerative combustion technique

      Regenerative combustion technique can fundamentally improve the energy utilization so as to make full use of low calorie fuels and will be favorable to reduce the emission of CO2 and NOx. Sheng Iron has developed honeycomb-like and ball-shape regenerators, which can be used as filling materials in regenerative chambers.


      The honeycomb-like regenerators are featured by good thermal shock resistance, big specific surface area, high accumulation of heat capacity, fast heat transfer and high durability, and can significantly reduce the volume and weight of the regenerative burner. They can be used in regenerative industrial furnaces using gas fuel, such as preheating device for ladle and heating furnace. Ball shaped regenerators are featured by good thermal shock resistance, high thermal storage ability, high strength, easy cleaning and recyclable reuse, and are suitable for the regenerator combustion system for the industrial furnaces that using gas fuel. We can also offer ball-shape regenerators with diameters of φ1416mm, φ1518mm, φ1719mm and φ1820mm.
