Sheng Iron developed corundum based long service life ladle upper nozzles with new technique. The nozzles have the features of superior resistance to thermal shock, erosion and oxidation etc. Lower nozzles for ladle are made from corundum, bauxite, flake graphite, antioxidant and phenolic resin. They show the features of excellent thermal shock resistance, good excellent corrosion and erosion resistance, strong cracking resistance etc. These products have been widely used in domestic steelworks.
