Castable material for working lining

      In the 1990s, our company took the lead in promoting the use of alumina-based high-alumina-spinel castables developed by ourselves on small and medium-sized continuous casting ladles in China, and participated in the national "Ninth Five-Year Plan" scientific and technological research projects for ladle lining and the Ministry of Metallurgy's scientific and technological research projects. Subsequently, cement-bonded and hydraulic alumina-bonded high-purity aluminum-magnesium castables suitable for large-scale ladle walls, aluminum-spinel castables suitable for large-scale ladle bottoms, and aluminum-magnesium-chromium castables used in refined ladle slag lines were also successfully developed and applied. The completed "Development and Application of Alumina-Based High-Alumina-Spinel Castables for Small and Medium-sized Continuous Casting Ladles" won the "Second Prize for Scientific and Technological Progress in Henan Province".


      Taking advantage of the characteristics of integral casting, the peeling and sleeve casting of the ladle working lining was implemented, which not only greatly increased the service life of the ladle, but also made the consumption and cost of refractory materials per ton of steel for the ladle reach the international advanced level.
