The developed SR-YJ series of castables for permanent ladle lining has a lower bulk density than traditional heavy castables, but the strength and permanent linear change rate after high temperature heating do not deteriorate. The bulk density can be controlled at 1.80-2.40 g/cm3, and there is no obvious shrinkage after heating at 1350℃. It has good durability and safety, and has a certain insulation effect, which can reduce the temperature of the ladle shell by 80-120℃.
